This is a passion project that is months in the making. We love NFTs. We love the innovative tech that’s coming out as a result of the emergence of the industry and we especially love the tight-knit communities they create. However, we hate watching people lose money on scams and rugpulls. We’ve watched people lose hundreds and thousands of dollars worth of eth on teams that don’t deliver and run away with their money. Metaversed was born out of a desire to combat that problem. We want to be the first place newbies are turned to in order to flesh out the knowledge they need in order to purchase an NFT safely. We don’t pretend to be the end all solution to rugpulls. Rugpulls will always exist and there’s no way to prevent all of them. What we can do however, is equip our community with the tools to stay ahead of the curve and see a rugpull coming a mile away.

We also want to provide our community with reputable, vetted projects to research in that they can trust. We can’t guarantee that the floor of those projects will hit 100eth (in fact, we can practically guarantee that they won’t), but what we can guarantee is that the team of whatever project is showcased on our site will continue working on building and providing utility/value to their community no matter what the floor price is.

So if you are interested in getting into the NFT space….welcome! Read some articles, read our FAQ’s on basic terms that beginners should know, start learning! Join our discord, ask questions! If you aren’t a newbie and you know all the info we have currently provided on the website….also join the discord and hang out! Hopefully you’re as passionate as we are about inclusivity in the space and want it to continue to grow and prosper. So help the new guys out, remember how confusing navigating the space was for you, whether you started months ago or years. I hope to talk to all of you there.
